Father of British Anthropology - Edward B Tylor

John Young will give a talk on Sir Edward Tylor, who was often regarded as the founder of modern anthropology.  He was a Quaker and married a member of the Fox family.  He lived in Wellington for some years, where he wrote his most famous books.
